The art of teaching kids how to swim runs deep in Emily's family. It all began with her mother, who established the family's swimming legacy in Kerman, CA and dedicated herself to teaching for an impressive 50 years. Following in their mother's footsteps, Emmie's sister has also made a significant mark in the industry by founding a highly successful swim school in San Diego. Emily herself has contributed to this rich tradition by spending her summers teaching at her sister's renowned school. With over 10 years of teaching aquatics, Emmie is deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of swimming instruction at Emmie's Swim School, ensuring that the tradition continues for generations to come.
Carrington Calandra (Instructor)
Carrington, a native of Fresno, CA, has been immersed in the world of childcare from a young age, nurturing a profound passion for it throughout her life. Her journey began as a dedicated child care teacher, where she honed her skills in caring for and educating young minds. Now, Carrington has set her sights on translating her wealth of teaching experience into the realm of aquatic education. Adept at forging personal connections with her students, she takes delight in uncovering their preferred colors, games, and songs, using these insights to customize her teaching approach to suit each individual. Carrington finds immense fulfillment in witnessing the progress of her students and witnessing their burgeoning affinity for the water, considering it the ultimate reward for her efforts.
